Block Watch picnic
 kicks off Saturday

City residents are invited to attend the 23th annual Toledo Neighborhood Block Watch family picnic Saturday, which will celebrate 31 years of building safer neighborhoods.

The picnic will be held at Ottawa Park, 2201 Kenwood Blvd., at the Liz Pierson shelter house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will feature the Toledo police honor guard, entertainment, free food and drinks, games, free T-shirts, and speeches by various city and Lucas County officials.
