Lourdes music department holds annual Christmas concert

Program ended in sing-along for band, choirs, audience

The Lourdes University music department played its annual Christmas Concert, “Love and Joy Come to You,” on Sunday in the Franciscan Center Theatre in Sylvania.

The free concert included the Lourdes University Chorus and Good Company Ensemble, directed by Karen T. Biscay, and the Maumee Community Band, directed by Kevin Heidbreder.

The Maumee Community Band performed seasonal favorites including German, French, and English carol arrangements, selections from The Polar Express, and Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride.

The concert concluded with a holiday carol sing-along for band, choirs, and audience.
