Sylvan Elementary Stride for Pride

Sylvan Stride for Pride at Sylvan Elementary School in Sylvania has been going for more than 15 years to raise money for supplemental programs and activities while encouraging exercise in the daily lives of students and parents. Students raise flat donations for the event and run or walk laps for 45 minutes. Parents are also invited to join their children in walking. This year, the school raised a little more than $15,000. The event took place Friday September 21, 2012.
