Scientists in Congregations Speaker Series: Marcus Borg

Sylvania United Church of Christ's Scientists in Congregations speaker Marcus Borg discussed Christian language and mysticism at the church September 21-22, 2012. The series continues Sunday, October 7 at 7 p.m. with Karl Giberson, a leading participant in America's creation/evolution controversy, and Monday, November 19 at 7 p.m. with Robert J. Russell, founder and director of the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences. The free lectures will be held in the church sanctuary at 7240 Erie St., Sylvania.
