Mercy Health System is planning to build a free-standing emergency room on the site at the northeast corner of Central Avenue and King Road.

Mercy purchased the site for $2.25 million last year. They estimate the total cost for the proposed 18,000-square-foot facility will be $14.3 million. It is tentatively expected to open in the fall of 2015.
