2 injured in Sylvania Township house fire on Homerdale Road


Two people, who suffered injuries, were taken to the hospital from the scene of a house fire tonight in a neighborhood near Corey Road and Sylvania Avenue, Sylvania Township dispatchers said.

The injuries are not life threatening, the dispatcher said.

The fire at 5060 Homerdale Rd. was reported to dispatchers about 7:30 p.m. According to the Lucas County auditor's office, the  one-story house is owned by Evelyn Aschenbach, of the same address.

Dispatchers said firefighters were still on the scene just before 10 p.m.
