Toledo man charged 
in 2 home burglaries


Toledo police on Tuesday arrested a Toledo man accused of burglarizing two homes last week.

Thomas Wandscher, 33, 1834 Lampwick St. was taken into custody sometime late Tuesday, arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of burglary, second-degree felonies, according to a Toledo police dispatcher.

Toledo police say Mr. Wandscher broke into a residence on National Avenue on July 17, and then a second residence in the 1800 block of Nelson Avenue two nights later.

Mr. Wandscher was identified when he tried to sell some of the items.

He was expected to be booked into the Lucas County jail late Tuesday.
