BOWLING GREEN — A rural Perrysburg man who barricaded himself in a mobile home in April was indicted this week by a Wood County grand jury.

John B. Spencer, 43, was indicted for felonious assault, criminal damaging, inducing panic, domestic violence, and using weapons while intoxicated. He is to be arraigned Oct. 2 by Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex.

According to the indictment, Mr. Spencer allegedly harmed or attempted to harm Rebecca Spencer with a full-size sport utility vehicle April 9, the night Wood County sheriff’s deputies were called to a Truman Road mobile home on a report of an armed man barricaded inside.

Mr. Spencer was arrested after deputies negotiated with him for more than two hours.
