Sylvania Township Police arrested a man today after he contributed to a multiple-vehicle crash on Central Avenue near King Road.

The suspect, who crashed his car into another vehicle, was arrested after a brief foot chase. A bystander who witnessed the crash, which was near Central Elementary, tackled the suspect.

Central was shut down in both directions. Police said the car was stolen.
