Lourdes University hosts NASA presentation


Lourdes University is partnering with Science Alliance for Valuing the Earth to present a free show in the Appold Planetarium on March 4, followed by a NASA Skype presentation.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Planetarium Coordinator Laura Megeath will present a program designed to prepare attendees for the NASA presentation.

Then, guests will gather in the Franciscan Center for a Skype presentation with Michael J. Miller, program manager for the Kennedy Space Center’s KaBOOM (Ka-Band Objects: Observation and Monitoring) Project.

The KaBOOM Project is NASA’s program which monitors asteroids and other near-Earth objects.

The program is free and open to the public.
