Concert to benefit ill Lourdes' violin instructor

LOURDES UNIVERSITY

The musical community of greater Toledo will gather to host a benefit for Sue Sgro, a long-time studio teacher of violin, viola, and piano and well-known in the area as a performer. 

The Lourdes violin instructor has not been able to continue sharing her musical talent through teaching and performing because of her health issues. Donations will be accepted to assist with her medical expenses.

The event is at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, at Church of St. Andrew United Methodist, 3620 Heatherdowns Blvd. in Toledo. A reception will follow.

Performers include many prominent area musicians and teachers including:
