Lourdes University chorus seeks new members, begins new season

LOURDES UNIVERSITY

The Lourdes University Chorus is seeking new members as it begins rehearsals for its 2012-2013 season.

It is recruiting singers on voice parts from its students, staff, and others in metro Toledo. Tenors and basses are especially sought.

The chorus practices each Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. through Dec. 14 in Lower Level Room 7 in the Franciscan Center. Winter rehearsals begin Jan. 16 through May 8.

Performances will include:

Fall Music Showcase: 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14.
Lourdes University Christmas Concert: 7:390 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2.
Celebration of Black History Month: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27.
Spring Choral Concert: 7 p.m. Sunday, May 5.

Other off-campus outreach concerts may be scheduled as well.
