'Taking it to the Street' Thursday welcomes Jamie Farr golfers, fans

Taking it to the Street–Downtown Sylvania Street Festival welcomes Jamie Farr tournament golfers, their families, and friends on Thursday.

The event is a family friendly street festival, to be held on Main Street between Erie Street and Monroe Street in Sylvania. It will feature musical entertainment from Skoobie Snacks and A Kiss of Class and children’s activities. A car show will be featured and a people choice and best of show trophy will be awarded.

Several downtown Sylvania restaurants and other businesses will be open and there will be street vendors.

The festival is sponsored by Mercy, Dave White Chevrolet, Fifth Third Bank, The Blade, Kingston-Sylvania and with support from the City of Sylvania, Miller Lite, and 93.5 WRQN radio, and WTOL-Channel 11.
