Downing's basket with 5 seconds left gives Northview win; Southview still looking for first win

Adam Downing's basket with five seconds to play lifted Northview to a one-point home win over Bowling Green in a boys high school basketball game Thursday night.
The Wildcats trailed throughout the contest until a 3-pointer by Adam West tied the Northern Lakes League game at 54 with 26 seconds left. BG's Evan Gardner was fouled a split a pair of free throws, setting up Downing's winning basket.
Connor Hartnett finished with 16 points, and Jeff Czerniakowski added 10 for Northview (4-2, 1-2 NLL).
Vitto Brown scored 26, while Mitchell Gardner added 11 for the Bobcats (3-2, 2-1).
Anthony Wayne 80, Southview 50
Mark Donnal scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Generals to the home win.
Matt Fox finished with 17 points and Hunter Debo 16 for Anthony Wayne (5-0, 3-0 NLL).
Jeremiah Roberts and Matt Morrison each scored 10 for the Cougars (0-6, 0-3).
