Big 2nd quarter helps lift Southview to victory over Northview

A strong second quarter propelled Southview to a victory Friday night in Northern Lakes League girls basketball.

Southview (6-2, 6-1 NLL) trailed 8-6 after the first quarter, but stormed to a 25-18 lead at halftime.

Taryn Stanley led the Cougars with 14 points, while Maria Pappas added 11.

Kendall McCoy had a team-high 13 for Northview (5-3, 4-3).
