Northview, Southview girls earn wins

Bailey Hejl and Taryn Stanley each scored 11 points to lead the Cougars (4-2).

Southview used a big third quarter (20-3) to open up the game.

Raechel McKay led the Generals (5-2) with seven.

Northview 56, Bowling Green 55

BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green missed a shot with three seconds left, and Northview held on for the victory in Northern Lakes League girls basketball on Friday.

Kendal Jessing paced Northview with 17 points, while Maddie Cole added 10 points.

The Wildcats made five of six free throws in the fourth quarter, while Bowling Green was 0-2 at the line.

Hanna Williford led the Bobcats with 18 points.
