Special breakfast for kids at Southview

BLADE STAFF

The Southview High School Band Boosters invites area children to eat breakfast Saturday with Santa Claus.

This year’s Breakfast with Santa is hosted from 9 a.m. to noon at the high school.

Children can enjoy cinnamon pastries, hot and cold cereals, yogurt, bagels, juice, and milk. Coffee will be available. Children will have a turn taking a photo with Santa and sharing with him their Christmas wish list.

Children can also partake in coloring activities, and have their faces painted. The parent-run booster club will host a $1 raffle drawing featuring an autographed copy of The Book Report from the Black Lagoon by Mike Thaler, and other prizes.

The breakfast costs $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Proceeds from the event will go toward needs for the Southview Band, including uniforms, instruments, and music. For more information visit gosvband.com.
