2 Northview students hired as apprentices for Young Artists at Work

Two Northview High School students Anna Wagner, junior, and senior Justin Wilkes were hired as apprentices for the Young Artists at Work program this past summer.

Both students were selected as winners and will have their poems appear on the new TARTA bus wraps. The poetry and wraps shared the theme of “Restore Planet Earth: Innovation.” The wraps were designed by Bowling Green State University graphic design students. The bus wraps were unveiled at a special reception on Dec. 4.

The program began in 2004 and each season encouraged exploration on various themes. This year, the artists were grouped in teams to create visual interpretations of the poems selected.
