Move out day for Sylvania's Central Elementary

Central Elementary in Sylvania Schools was being cleaned out today, as movers were working hard to take packed-up items to the new Central Trail Elementary School a few miles away.

ABC Movers were using Atlas Van Lines trucks to transport the elementary school's books and other items.

The school at Central Avenue and King Road in Sylvania Township is to close today, and students and staff will start after the holiday break, on Jan. 7, at Central Trail at 4321 Mitchaw Rd., also in Sylvania Township.

Parents and students are invited to an open house at the new building from 1-3 p.m. Jan. 5. For more information, visit sylvaniaschools.org.
