Registration, orientation information released for Sylvania Schools
Registration for Sylvania Schools is open 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the district offices at 4747 N. Holland Sylvania Rd., which is near the Harroun Road intersection.
Parents can download an information packet from the district's Web site at www.sylvaniaschools.org and look under the prospective parent tab. Instructions and a packet are available there and at the district offices.
For parents of kindergarten students, their child must be 5 years of age on or before Aug. 1, 2012. Additional forms and information are needed for kindergarten children, and registration packets for kindergarten students must be obtained through the Student Services Department in Room 204, 1st floor of the district offices.
Elementary class lists and bus route information is to be posted on each of the school buildings about Aug. 18. Orientation dates for the junior and high school parents/students have been scheduled.
