Sylvania woman arrested for stealing ice cream, egg rolls

A Sylvania woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing a variety of ice cream items, plus two packages egg rolls, according to a police report released today.

Jennifer Pelow, 35, of 6632 Maplewood Ave., Apartment 307, was arrested on petty theft charges for allegedly stealing 2 packs of Klondike Oreo ice cream bars, 1 pint of Breyers strawberry ice cream, 1 pint of Snickers ice cream, and the egg rolls from the Speedway gas station, 6601 Monroe St. in Sylvania.

Estimated value of the food items was $25.56. The incident occurred about 8 p.m. Saturday.

Sylvania police were dispatched to the scene where Ms. Pelow was arrested.

No court date for this case has been set.
