Westbound traffic on Monroe Street in the city of Sylvania will be reduced to one lane near Harroun Road for electrical work on Wednesday.
The work is expected to take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The electrical work will be handled by Toledo Edison and will not involve Sylvania's street department, said Kevin Aller, the city's public service director.
Toledo Edison crews are expected to start setting up the area in anticipation of the closure later today.
The work is expected to be completed by early evening Wednesday, and traffic is expected to be back to normal.
