As the fifth annual year of the event, participants walked to promote awareness and education about the local Sight Center. The center provides services for people of all ages in the community who are blind or visually impaired.

Participants were given the option to walk either one or two miles around the hospital campus. In addition to exercise, there were also other awareness activities, such as a blindfolded food challenge.
