Town Talk, My Town features added to Our Town Sylvania

Ourtownsylvania.com today unveils two new fixtures on the home page, which are designed to generate more community discussion.

Shown under the story headlines and Sylvania Voices on the home page is a module that will anchor the blog postings about the community by Blade staff writer Kelly McLendon. Each time she updates her blog, the new posting headline will appear under her “My Town” header. This way, readers will always be able to find her blog and keep tabs on when she has added new posts.

Next to it is a new feature called TownTalk. Updated at least weekly, it will include 10 questions and answers by a local official, business owner, resident, or others in the community.

The questions will differ each time, as will the people to whom they are asked. If you are interested in participating, please send an email expressing that to ourtownsylvania@theblade.com, as well as the best way to reach you.
