What do the staff members of the Sylvania Branch Library appreciate very much?
Our wonderful, loyal patrons! We are the busiest of the 18 branches in the library system. During 2011, there were nearly 250,000 visitors to the Sylvania Branch.
To show our gratitude, we would like to extend an invitation to celebrate “Patron Appreciation Day” on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 1 to 5 p.m. This is our way of saying “Thank You” to all of the community members who visit the library and make use of our many services.
There will be fun for the entire family. Andrew Martin will be performing amazing magic from 1 to 3 p.m. Sylvania’s very own John Cleveland will be providing musical entertainment on the keyboards from 3 to 4 p.m. There will be crafts for kids, prizes, refreshments and much more.
This free program is sure to have something for everyone to enjoy, so be sure to mark your calendar and join us for a great time.
