Aliens take a vacation at Lourdes planetarium

University offers winter show 'Perfect Little Planet'

Lourdes University’s Appold Planetarium kicks off 2014 with a visit from aliens in "Perfect Little Planet: Greetings Earthlings. We’re on Vacation!"

The show is designed to take planetarium visitors on a journey to discover the most perfect vacation spots in the universe as seen through the eyes of a family from another solar system.

Showings of "Perfect Little Planet" are set for Saturdays, Jan. 18 and 25 and Feb. 15 and 22. All showings are at 7 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children under 12 and for Lourdes students presenting their student identification.

Shows at the Appold Planetarium are limited to 50 and often sell out.

For information or to purchase tickets, contact Laura Megeath, planetarium coordinator, email or call at 419-517-8897.
