The Lourdes University Drama Society will present a musical showcase entitled “Just Desserts,” Thursday through Saturday.

Under the direction of Lourdes alumna Kelly Welever, the production will feature selections from several hit Broadway musicals, including Songs for a New World and Thoroughly Modern Millie, while the audience enjoys a variety of dessert options. All proceeds will benefit the Drama Society.

“This production was completely Kelly’s idea,” stated Keith Ramsdell, advisor for the Drama Society. “She came to me several months ago wanting to direct a production that would benefit the group, and this is the result. The combination of great music and desserts around a Valentine’s Day theme is brilliant. I’m extremely proud of her.”

“So many businesses and volunteers have helped to make this production a reality. It’s truly been an amazing experience,” said Ms. Welever.
