Saturday's sunny skies were too good to pass up for Patrick Green of Sylvania and his stepdaughter Annika, 7.

On Saturday they visited Harroun Community Park in Sylvania, where Annika and the family's year-old dog, yoda, walked along Ten mile Creek under the bridge near the park, supervised by Mr. Green from an observation deck.

Mr. Green said weekend relaxation time was bordering on too much relaxing and not enough exercise.

"She's been watching cartoons all day so I said, 'Get up, get dressed. We've got to get out on this beautiful day,' " Mr. Green said.
