Sylvania's Treo hosts live music on weekends

Jack & the Bear, a folk-rock band, played at downtown Sylvania's Treo lounge and bar on Saturday night.

On weekend evenings, the lounge opens up to feature live jazz, blues, soul, funk, and classic R&B, among other types of music.

Jack & the Bear was formed in Monroe, Mich., two years ago and has played at a variety of venues since then. On the band's Facebook page, they are listed as playing music similar to popular bands like The Avett Brothers, Arcade Fire and Mumford & Sons. The band has seven members, including two sets of brothers.
