'Cup of Christmas' lunch and bask sale comes off merrily

With the holiday season in full swing, the organization Women's Connection West invited women to Sylvania's Highland Meadows Golf Club today for a luncheon and holiday bake sale. The event, entitled "A Cup of Christmas," invited visitors to purchase baked goods and enjoy a hot turkey buffet lunch.

Guest speaker Charlotte Nolan, from Georgette's Grounds and Gifts in Maumee, attended the event to discuss coffee, fair trade products and also her work with the Sunshine Foundation. Another guest speaker, Edy Pocse, from Oregon, was at the event to speak about finding contentment through the challenges of life.
