Children and their mothers turned out Tuesday evening for storytime and activities at the Sylvania branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library near downtown Sylvania.
The library received a grant from PNC Bank to incorporate a three-part financial educational session designed to teach children the value of spending, sharing, and saving.
Each child is given a coupon marked as a single dollar each week during class. At the end of each session, the children could choose weather to spend, save or share their dollar.
Five children and their mothers turned out for Tuesday's session, the second in the series.
