Performances also will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. All three performances will be staged in the Ebeid Student Center in McAlear Hall. For tickets, call 419-517-8881. Tickets can also be purchased at

Start the day off with breakfast with Santa and a silent auction at Southview High School. The festivities begin at 9 a.m. at 7225 W. A silent auction will run until 11:30 a.m. Items up for grabs include sports memorabilia, gift certificates, and more. The high school's jazz band will play during the breakfast and the auction as well. Visit for details.

4 Paws Sake Inc., a local nonprofit dog rescue organization, will host a Pet Photos with Santa event from 10 2 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, located at 6735 Sylvania Ave. The photos will be sold for $10 for a hard copy and frame, as well as an electronic version of the photo. There will be storytime, as well as opportunities to decorate a miniature family tree and have snacks. Participants are asked to bring winter socks for kids or adults, or a perishable food item for Sylvania Area Family Services, as admission. The event begins at 3 p.m. Olander Park is at 6930 Sylvania Ave.
