Based on music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, the play is also based on a book written by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. The program tells the story of a governess, dispatched to care for the seven children of a widowed Naval captain.
The show, which had performances Thursday and Friday, will continue at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Northview Performing Arts Center is located at 5403 Silica Drive.
