This October, aliens are coming to Lourdes University’s Appold Planetarium in "Perfect Little Planet: Greetings Earthlings. We’re on Vacation!"

This new show will take visitors on a journey to discover the perfect vacation spot in the universe.

Imagine the ultimate space vacation. Discover our solar system through a different set of eyes – a family from another star system seeking the perfect vacation spot. Fly over the surface of Pluto, our best known Dwarf Planet. Dive over the ice cliffs of Miranda. Sail through the rings of Saturn. Feel the lightning storms at Jupiter and walk on the surface of Mars.

Which destination would you choose?

Showing at 7 p.m. on the following Saturdays: Oct. 6, 13, and 20 and Nov. 10 and 17.

Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children under 12 and for Lourdes students presenting their student ID. Shows are limited to 50 and often sell out.

For more information or to purchase tickets contact Dr. Laura Megeath, planetarium coordinator, email planetarium@lourdes.edu or call 419-517-8897.
