DNA LifePrint suggests that parents greatly increase their chance of recovering their child in the event of a missing persons case, if they provide four items to the police when reporting a disappearance.
These items include: an FBI-certified biometric 10 digit fingerprint profile, a DNA sample, a high resolution full color photo and detailed information like height and weight.
The event provides a child safety journal and a home DNA identification kit to families. All items are free and sponsored by the dealership. No records will be kept on file, meaning that the DNA kit is meant to be used at home and the fingerprints will not submitted to any databases.
