Toledoan indicted
 on murder charge

A Toledo man was indicted Monday on charges he shot and killed a central Toledo man in North Toledo three months ago.

Patrick Harris, 40, of 311 New York Ave. was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury on charges of murder and felonious assault for the May 11 shooting of Ramon Dorsey, 22.

The indictment alleges that Harris fired a hand gun at Rico Dorsey, but the shot struck Ramon Dorsey, 22, in the head.

He was found slumped over the wheel of a sport utility vehicle in an alley in the 2800 block of North Summit Street and died May 12 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Harris was arrested July 18 in Indianapolis by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Region Task Force and Indianapolis police.

He was held without bond Monday in the Lucas County jail.
