An opening reception for the Hudson Gallery’s new exhibit, “Expressive Landscapes,” is scheduled for Saturday evening.

The exhibit, on view through March 22, displays paintings and drawings by husband and wife artists Thomas Hilty and Tamara Monk of Bowling Green. The free reception at the 5645 Main St. gallery will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

The images in Ms. Monk’s paintings depict her curiosity about the environment she inhabits, and the human relationship with the natural world. Mr. Hilty’s work reflects on his fascination with the Great Lakes region and the rivers that flow into it.
